美食 at Chabot Gladiator Day

We are an organization at “大学 whose purpose is to inspire the next generation of teachers. We offer academic 和 social support to future teachers—holding general 和 regular weekly meetings, hosting socials, sharing resources 和 stories, 和 creating an overall network of support. We believe in doing community outreach that builds bridges between different ages 和 groups of people for mentoring, role modeling, 和 sharing a dream of higher education. Our complex world needs more socially conscious educators, who we hope to foster in 美食. We believe in professional development for pre-service teachers to learn about the field of education, professional requirements, 和 opportunities. We’d like to hear your ideas on how education can continue to grow to meet the challenges of today.

Recent 美食 News

In early October 2020 we (美食 faculty coordinators 莫妮卡Olmedo 和首页ira Foth) facilitated a session at the virtual Teach for the Bay Conference. The session, "Busting Myths: Transforming Deficit Thinking" also features Chabot's Language Arts Dean Dr. Jamal Cooks 和 other educators.
